Projects included oil & gas and pipeline materials, aluminum base alloys, stainless steels, mining industry, and aerospace materials. • 1989 to 2013 → Senior Research Scientist, Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) • 2013 to 2014 → Advisor, Materials & Corrosion Engineering / Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) • 2014 to 2019 → Senior Materials Engineering Advisor / Blade Energy Partners Houston/USA • 2019 to...now → ACMEE-TEK Oil & Gas (Training and Consulting). Invited to India as part of GIAN (GLOBALINITIATIVE OF ACADEMIC NETWORKS) whose main objective is to increase the presence of reputable international professionals in Indian academic institutes. Additionally, give students from different institutes/universities and to industries the opportunity to interact and learn topics in niche areas through a collaborative learning process. Active member of several international professional societies. Reviewed papers for scientific journals, and acted as editor of books, PhD thesis examiner and reviewer of graduate programs at the universities and Adjunct professorship at the University of Alberta. Presented many training courses for personnel involved in oil and gas activities. Invited to China National Petroleum Corporation at TGRC to give a series of presentations and workshops to students and industry on SCC and materials used in sour service. The Recipient of the Metallurgical Society of CIM MORRIS COHEN AWARD. The HOWARD F. TAYLOR AWARD from the American Foundrymen's Society. The Recipient of MMS Sector Award. Invited Guest Speaker and Distinguished Lecturer at several International Conferences. External Reviewer of Graduate Program and Research (Provide an Assessment of the Health and Vitality of the Programs). Functional group leader at Natural Resources Canada.
